I heart Resident Evil

Resident Evil 4 is awesome! Personally I think the graphic has improved quite a bit, Milla Jovovich is hotter than ever, and the story line is quite interesting too!

Resident Evil movie series is one of the few which I watched quite a few times, probably average 3 to 4 times per movie! Can't help it coz I kinda like all those zombie thingy with stunning actions and thriller in the movies, and I think Milla's has potrayed the character "Alice"well so far. that no one can replace her role this far! The closest one that I could think of is, errrr.... Angelina Jolie? But I suppose Alice shouldn't have such bouncy and thick lips right? :P

Wanna share some interesting happened before the movie. When I was buying the tickets, I had the following conversation with the ticket seller:

Me: Hi, I would like to buy 2 tickets for Resident Evil 4 at 830pm

TS: Ok. But you have to be above 18 years old to watch this movie

Me: What? I AM above 18 years old~

TS: Are you sure?

Me: Yes I am. You wanna see my IC?" I proudly flashed my Mykad to her

TS :Okayyy, but you don't look like your age *With a shock expression on her face*

Me: How many years old you thought I am?

TS: 17 or 18? You look like a form 5 student.

Me: Hahahahaha! Thanks~ *blushing + big grin*

While waiting for the tickets to be printed, she turned to her colleague beside her and ask her to guess my age, and apparently her colleague had the same expression like she did, as expected! :P I guess both ladies definitely made the whole movie more enjoyable! Haha~

p/s: Having some difficulties in picking up the books again, haiz!

绝对推荐的好电影

上个星期看了一部非常棒的电影。
剧情扣人心弦，
几乎没有半点让人透气的机会。
演员个个出神入化，
成功地牵动观众进入故事里所要表达的东西。
绝对是值回票价的一部作品！
没有像《Inception》那么复杂的故事，
却依然能够让我看得津津有味。
它也没有像《Avatar》里令人惊叹万分的动画场面，
却依然能让人看得目不转睛。

若你有机会的话，
一定要去支持这部电影 -- 《线人》，
一部小弟认为今年为止最好看的一部港片！

不同的经验和惊喜，
我想这就是旅行最特别的地方。
虽然它并不是遥远的欧洲，
还是炎炎泰国的曼谷，
但能够和我身边几乎所有的人到这地方，
应该是少之又少人有的经验吧？

同事

一年内和不同的人去了同样的地方，
应该会闷到吐吧？
哈哈！
不过很庆幸的是，
他们都给了我很不一样的体验。
家人的温馨，
朋友的疯狂，
同事的欢乐，
我都在这地方一一地体会到了。

Bullshit

Sometimes it is not about one's ability to make something happen, it's about his willingness to make that thing comes true. When you want something, you only need one reason to success. But when you don't have the willingness to make it happen, you can always give thousand of reasons and excuses. For instance, when your mum asked you to help her buy some groceries, if you are willing to help her out, you will do it no matter how busy you are. But if you are lazy or what so ever, you can always give your mum tons of excuses to avoid the responsibility.

This situation is no stranger to us and it always happen around us, to you and to me, and of course to the people around us. Sometimes things are not as complicated as we thought, it's only about whether people are willing to contribute and help each other out. Unfortunately, such quality is lack in some people around me, which can be quite annoying at times.

Teamwork, teamwork. We always says it, but do we really practise it? During interview, you told everyone how great you are as a team player, how cooperative you were in the past which helped the team to success and blah blah blah yada yada yada. But in reality, do you hold up to what you have said earlier? You know the best...

Just want to burst out my thoughts for what I saw in the past occasions. Maybe that's who they are and the way they act as a team. I'm disappointed, but I ain't gonna say a thing coz after all, I'm not the manager.

又是一篇久违的文章，
真是的！>.<
不知道为何对写部落格的心情开始降温了。
以前写部落格的出发点是想要和大家分享自己周遭的某一些事，
要不然就是在这里好好发泄一番。
可能是自己不懂得如何分享了吧？
也或许是因为有facebook和twitter的存在，
在任何时候只需要短短的几个字就能畅所欲言，
不想写部落格要构想很多的事情那么麻烦。
不过我还是觉得写blog比较有fu! :)

今天下午去了大学一趟，
为的就是妹妹的毕业典礼。
看她身穿毕业袍和四方帽的时候，
才发现原来自己已经毕业有一年的时间了，
时间啊，
为何您总是在不知觉下溜得那么快啊？

毕业典礼的场面，
不凡就是毕业生和家人朋友分享成功毕业的那一份荣耀，
在众人的祝福下正式离开象牙塔的生活，
准备迈向人生的另一所大学。
回想起小时候长辈们都会叮咛要我们好好念书，
长大了以后才能赚大钱的那句话，
我想现在很多工作多年的社会人士都还未能实现吧？
在现今的社会里，
上大学好像已经是理所当然的事情了。
你随便在街上丢一块石头，
有百分之九十五会击中一位大学生。
如果长辈们的话是真的，
那马来西亚很快就会没有穷人了，
对bo？

要在这大学生泛滥的社会里生存或者稍微有表现，
这才是学习真正的开始啊！
除了要懂得不断提升自我价值之外，
还必须会要懂得“做人之道”。
当然也要开始和金钱和经济开始奋斗努力，
在这物价高涨的社会里养活自己和他人，
也为未来买车置产开始做准备。

那么多的挑战，
不得不让人怀念那无忧无虑的大学生活。
那些曾经在教室里留下的欢笑声，
和死党为学业努力奋斗的情景，
如今也只能换做回忆，
烙印在脑海里慢慢地回味啊。。。

加油吧！

久违的update

看来我是真的很久很久很久没有来update自己的部落格，
我想这次应该是荒废它最长的时间吧？
paiseh paiseh... :P

刚刚熬过了令人惊心胆跳的quarter closing，
觉得肩膀上的负担好像轻了许多！
感觉真爽！^.^
不过今天当我查看日历的时候，
发现原来7月已经过了一半，
快到。。。
怎么两个星期那么快过啊！
不过也好，
那也代表出粮的日子即将来临了，
哈哈！

上个星期收到老板的通知要我们开始clear leave了，
因为不能一次过在年尾clear完，
也不能bring forward到明年去,
所以从这个月开始会开始计划自己的schedule。
明天小弟请假和同事到云顶去搏杀一番 :P
不过我可不是酱烂赌的人，
小赌怡情就好！
当做是奖励自己熬过了生平第一次的quarter closing吧！
希望能够得到财神爷的眷顾吧，
呵呵~

夜了，
该是时候好好休息，
为明天的假期好好准备一下才行。
希望到时候有机会能够和大家分享照片吧！（如果有时间拍照的话啦~）

Tomorrow comes the quarterly closing, which means more work, more emails, more issues and more troubles! God bless.....

Anyway, yesterday mum suggested a family trip since it has been some time since we last travel together, and the place suggested was Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam! Seriously, I'm not so into Vietnam at the moment coz what I have in mind about Vietnam is lots of museums, temples and tons of historical sites. Such "cultural trip" is never my cup of tea, so I'm wondering can anyone enlightens me with some great places and great things to do in Ho Chi Minh please?

抽烟

很久没有po文章了，
“灰常”不好意思。
可能本身周遭也没什么特别的事发生吧，
所以写东西的手感也自然少了 :P

我想你们都应该会遇到这种情况，
就是在厕所里遇到别人在抽烟，
把整个厕所搞得乌烟瘴气！
若你在厕所里呆久一些，
身体肯定带有超浓的臭烟味，
我接受唔到咯~

我本身并不排斥抽烟的人，
但若你想要快乐似神仙的时候，
麻烦到户外的地方去好吗？
因为我并不想要那么快成仙啊！
所以如果你身边有那么不醒目的朋友，
记得提醒他们关于这一点好吗？

结婚了

前天得知两位大学朋友拉埋天窗，真是替他们感到开心。从当初两位陌生人，到对彼此有感觉到走在一起，一直到现在正式成为夫妻。感觉着整个过程都有点不可思议，毕竟现代的年轻人说来就来，说散就散，要给予彼此一生一世的承诺谈何容易啊！

有人说他们好像有点太快了。老实说，我觉得要拍拖多久才能结婚是没有一定的标准。有的人拍拖8年才结婚，但最后还是以离婚收场；有的人拍拖1年，却能够长厢厮守。毕竟缘分这门东西真的很难懂，只要感觉对了，就应该把握眼前的幸福，因为错过了就再也找不回来。

你找到了你要的幸福吗？

Just another update

Life is busy here. "Bottomless" of emails, lots of events and meetings, and countless of requests from east to the west.

So this is how it feels like to be busy with work huh? I guess so...

However, I'm truly grateful that currently I'm still able to strive a balance between work and life. Still going to gym consistently, which resulted a few kgs of weight loss ^.^ Maybe my next target would be gaining more muscles? *finger-crossed*

Registering for my professional study will be the next top priority. I've been in a serious consideration of taking up the studies coz I'm really afraid I could not give full commitment. But I guess if other people can make, why couldn't I do the same too? Determination is the key word here.

Life, oh life... I'm still learning how to live a life.

Bandung (万隆游记) - Shopping & others

One of the main reasons to Bandung is definitely shopping! If you are not aware of this, Bandung is well-known for its factory outlets where you can find branded clothes at affordable price! Those factory outlets are located almost everywhere in Bandung and you can easily spot at least 10 of them in one day!

Our shopping spree started at 9am. In order to save all the hassle, we hire a driver to drive us around Bandung which last for 12 hours for 400,000rph (RM144), which inclusive of car rental, petrol, parking, toll, and driver's meal. Though it is quite expensive for only 3 of us, it is highly recommended to those who want to enjoy their shopping without worrying catching a cab. Besides that, you wouldn't want to drive around Bandung city where the traffic conditions are much worse than what you see in Bukit Bintang! Hence, it is highly recommended that you hire one driver to drive you around so that you can have fun hunting for your clothes!

After spending hours and hours in those factory outlets, our wallets became so thin that turned out just enough to buy us lunch during our last day in Bandung. Overall, the shopping experience in Bandung was good, but not as great as what I expected. Most of the factory outlets sell similar clothes where at the end of the day, we were so sick and reluctant to enter another outlets @.@ Besides that, there are lots of counterfeit products sold in those outlets, though they said it is authentic which I doubt. If you have the experience buying authentic Ralph Lauren, Burberry and etc, you should be able to spot the counterfeit one. However, there were also lots of authentic apparels available too. The only thing you have to do is search properly cozmind you, those outlets ain't small and the variety of clothes available is amazing.

Here is the list of factory outlets that we went during the trips:
- Jalan Dago: Happening
- Jalan Riau: Summit, Stamp, Terminal Tas, Secret, Heritage, Cascade, ForMen
- Jalan Setiabudi: Rumah Mode (Nice one!)

Besides factory outlets, another must go place in Bandung is distribution outlets. At here, you won't find any branded clothes but instead, you can find nice and creative apparel from the local designer at low prices too. I personally prefer to shop at these outlets as the products offered are more attractive. Who cares if they aren't branded... ^.^ You can find these outlets located mostly at Jalan Sultan Agung.

Bandung (万隆游记) - Food Hunt (Part 2)

2. Pak Chi Met Ikan Bakar

After indulged ourselves with such nice food at Kampung Daun, the food hunt continues on the next day. Since we still crave for more nice grilled food in Bandung city, we decided to have our lunchy at Pak Chi Met Ikan Bakar which located at Jalan Sukajadi.

According to driver, Pak Chi Met serves great ikan bakar and he proves to be right. We ordered 3 different sets of meals and I would say each and everyone of them tastes really good. I'm not a big fan of fish (sometimes I even hate fish!) and yet, I find myself eating till the very last piece of meat left on the plate! ^.^ Besides that, Pak Chi Met has great and cozy environment too where there's fish ponds, flowers and more flowers at the backyard of the restaurant.

Generally, Pak Chi Met offers variety of grilled fish with different types of tastes and flavors. If you are not a big fan of fish, you can also try their grilled chicken. However, I personally think the portion of the chicken is insufficient especially to guys coz the chicken served in Bandung is almost half the size of what we have here in Malaysia. According to the driver, chickens served in Bandung are those "kampung chicken", which are smaller than what we usually find here. So you might want to order 2 sets instead of 1 :P

3. Others
Holland Bakery- You can find this bakery shop located around in Bandung. If you are craving for some bread during your stay in Bandung, you can always look for this shop.

Kartika Sari- One of the must visit shops in Bandung. Kartika Sari offers great variety of cakes, which specialise in layer cake and brownies. There were quite a number of customers when we were there and mind you, their so called "headquarter" located in Jalan Dago is huge, is 2 times bigger than those fragrant biscuits shops in Penang. However, there wasn't any testing available for customers, what a let down for those potential customers like me who might wanna buy more! :P

Bandung (万隆游记) - Food Hunt (Part 1)

1. Kampung Daun

I wasn't a big fan of Indonesian food, but not after we had our first lunch in Bandung at Kampung Daun. Kampung Daun is located quite a distance away from the city, but is accessible by local taxi. I would recommend everyone to take cab which called BlueBird where it runs on meter basis. So make sure you ask the driver properly before boarding.

We arrived at Kampung Daun after spending hours at Tangkuban Perahu. When we arrived there, the first thing we noticed was there were lots of cars parked at the parking lots. Thought we might need to wait for seats, surprisingly we were ushered to our seats once we arrived at the restaurant. I totally love Kampung Daun surroundings and environment as it is well accommodated inside the "forest". Well, that is what the driver told me by the way~ :P The ambiance was great and cozy enough that 3 of us love it at the first sight. You can find cultural performance as well as gallery shop selling souvenirs too.

In Kampung Daun, customers dine in a nicely decorated small hut located in different areas. Since we were so eager to try out the food, we did not spend much time exploring around the areas, kinda regret now :P Thought the price might be throat cutting, I find the price is reasonable, given its great atmosphere and settings. The food served are mostly Indonesian food. But if you would like to try something else, they also served western food too!

Overall, this lunch was really good and we enjoyed ourselves so much with the food and the great atmosphere. The bill costs us around 360,000rph (RM130) which I think is reasonable for the quality of food served. It was just unfortunate that it was raining cats and dogs (and it happens in every afternoon till evening! >.<), therefore we couldn't walk around the restaurant to take more nice photos to share with you guys. Will definitely visit this place one more time should I come back here in the future! p/s: I miss the ayam bakar T.T

Bandung (万隆游记) - Tangkuban Perahu

We arrived in Bandung in the late evening and after all the hassle at the custom station, it was already 6pm. FYI, Bandung is one hour later than Kuala Lumpur time, but at 6pm the sky is as dark as what we have here at 8pm. Weird. We have arranged transportation to pick us up at the airport at 15,000rph (RM5.50) per pax to our guesthouse. But since the driver told us that most of the shops in Bandung close at 9pm, we had our dinner at one of the Sudanese restaurants and did some minor shopping before we went back to our guesthouse. The name of the place we stayed is called "Dago Guest House", and it only costs 590,000rph (RM220) for 3nights inclusive of breakfast for 2! Fulamak, unbelievably cheap right? However, the guest house is a lil bit rundown and what shocked us the most is that there isn't any basin in the toilet! -.-"' But still, for the price we paid, can't complain much la.

The car which brought us around Bandung

The next day we decided to rent a car with a driver to take us around Bandung which costs 450,000rph (RM162) a day inclusive of 50,000rph surcharge for trip to Bandung. In Bandung, you could never miss to visit Tangkuban Perahu, the famous volcano mountain in that area. Being a kampung boy who never been to any volcano mountain, the trip to Tangkuban Perahu is definitely an eye-opening one, though there wasn't any volcano eruption happen, haha!

After an hour drive from the city, we finally arrived at Tangkuban Perahu. But before we got to driver all the way to peak, we have to pay the entrance ticket of 50,000rph (RM18) per person, which is kinda expensive to cheapskate like me :P As that day was a public holiday in Indonesia, we spotted lots of Jakartarians visiting the mountain. According to the driver, Jakarta people love to visit Bandung during holidays and weekend for its cool weather and shopping. Bandung has some similarities like our very own Cameron Highlands where it has cooler weather and also famous for its agricultural activities. But of course, we have no volcano mountains in Malaysia~

The weather at Tangkuban Perahu was chilling at times where you definitely need your warmy jacket. But sometimes it could be hot too as the exposure to sunlight was quite strong. We were so confident that we don't need any jacket and hence, when there was a slight wind blow, it nearly froze us, not forgetting the stinky sulphur smell! @.@

For those who haven't been to any volcano mountain, I think Tangkuban Perahu is one of the cheapest options you could find ^.^ Other than hiring a driver, you could also opt for local public transport called "Angkutan Kota" to Lembang and once you reach the entrance, you can hike up on foot for the rest of the journey which I do not recommend as the road condition was really bad.

Bandung - Prelude

Hey hey hey, I'm back! Miss me? I bet you did, right? :P Overall, the trip to Bandung was great and relaxing, though it can be better of course. Anyway, for those who don't know where the hell is Bandung, here is the link for you ^.^ As a cost-savvy traveler, we have booked the tickets 6 months ago during AirAsia zero fare promotion. The return ticket to Bandung per pax only costs RM45, inclusive of 15kg baggage allowance but excluding Indonesia airport tax. Cheap huh?

I always consider myself as lucky coz so far I haven't encounter any flight delay for any AirAsia flight, hope this luck could continues in the future! ^.^ We arrived at Bandung Husein Sastranegara International Airport at 4.45pm but only managed to catch our transport back to hotel at 5.45pm, no thanks to the super strict custom checking. Mind you Bandung airport is not so glamour like our lovely KLIA, and it is even smaller than Kuala Terrengganu airport!

So what did we do during the 4days 3nights trip to Bandung? Well, if you had already know, Bandung is well-known for its volcanic mountains scenes as well as shopping for cheap apparels. So basically what we did was only eating and non-stop shopping besides a half-day trip to the well-known Tangkuban Perahu, where I had my very first up-close with a volcano mountain (A dead one of course!) Besides that, Bandung also serves great Sudanese food which can be found almost everywhere around the city.

Holidays~

It has been more than a week since my last update, was really really busy with my work here. This month closing has been a really hectic one, and in fact, the toughest one so far as I started to take more responsibilities from my seniors. On a steep learning curve at the moment, I guess there'll be more to come.

Anyway, after all the dings and dongs, finally here comes my holiday! Tomorrow I'll be going to Bandung for holiday and will not be back until this Saturday! Woohuuu~ ^.^ Definitely gonna give myself a good break with a relaxing and yet, fruitful trip with my buddies.

Can't get my eyes off you!

HTC has been producing some of the most stunning smart phones recently, from the very first generation of HTC Diamond to the recently launched HTC HD2. I would lurve to have them all as my collection ^.^ (Dreaming~) And last week, I came across this little baby. Its sleek aluminum body caught my eyes and as usual, I fell in love again with this newbie!

Powered by Android 2.1 platform, the upcoming and most intense rival of Apple iPhone, HTC Legend is the successor of its famous predecessor, HTC Hero. I personally think Legend looks much more elegant than Hero, though I have not seen it myself yet. Not sure whether I should go to any mobile phone shop to take a look coz I'm afraid I might be poisoned by this gorgeous!

进步了

今天早上临出门前，老妈子问我今晚有没有吃晚餐。我想了想告诉她我有，但不需要留太多，因为晚上吃太多会让我的努力“前功尽废”。

结果她对我说：“要不要酱care噢？你的身材又变比较好么？”

接着就用手指按按我的手臂。

“不要特地用力咯！”老妈子说

“哪里有！嗱，现在这个才是用力的啦！”

我可以看到她的表情是惊讶的，应该没料到她这肥腻腻的儿子竟然有一些小肌肉有了吧，哈哈！当时心里还真的不禁暗爽了一下下，毕竟我是真的有在努力的嘛！

当然，对于目标还是有一大段的距离的。所以小弟还是会继续努力，朝向理想中的身材和健康前进！大家加油吧！^.^

p/s: 不过老妈子还是说我的肩膀不够阔，遗传到老爸的身材 =.="'

Haircut

I've been a loyal customer of this hair stylist back when I was in my Year 2 in uni. This hair stylist has always been there to save the disaster whenever after I had a horrible haircut from the previous paliarr hairstylists (especially a salon in One Utama called "Monxxxn ID", definitely not going back there anymore!). After all the "horrifying" incidents, I think I'm most "clicked" with this hairstylist as he could understand what I what and what suits me the most. Since then, I've never go to any other hairstylist but just him. Very loyal right? :P

After working in a new salon for less than a year, few weeks ago he texted me to inform me that he's going back to the previous salon where I first had my haircut from him. Well, I have no problem visiting other salon as long as he's the hairstylist. And today I decided to visit him again after my last hair cut 2 months ago since my hair is kinda long. Thinking that everything is still remain the same, he told me that he has promoted to professional level from the previous senior position. It is a good news to him of course, but a bad news for me! Why? That means now I'm going to pay almost DOUBLE from what I've been paying all this while!!! Ohhhh noooooo! But since I'm already there, no choice lo, have to cut lo~ When he is cutting my hair, I can hear my wallet screaming for help for the very first time in a salon T.T

Unlike the ladies, I think most of the guys go for haircut once every 5 weeks to 8 weeks, which consider as quite frequent, the haircut service should not be too expensive or else it would costs considerable amount of money. Since I'm not a celebrity or some datuk datin, I don't have to spend like RM500 a year solely for haircut without any hair colouring lor, a bit too much for a poor citizen like me larr :(

So for the coming future, should I continue to visit him again despite the double price that I'm going to pay? Or I should start to look for another reliable hairstylist without making a big hole on my wallet even though I know that I might be facing some disaster haircuts again? Haiz!

p/s: Perhaps some Indian barber shops in Subang? :P

Time zone difference

Argghhh! WTH....

第29届香港金像奖

虽然香港电影金像奖的历史不及台湾电影金马奖来的久，
可是我对前者的兴趣和注意却往往比后者来得多。
可能是因为我比较喜欢港片的原因，
所以很自然的对它的颁奖典礼比较期待。

第29届香港金像奖将会在明天隆重登场了 ^.^
这次的入围名单可说是非常的有看头。
先看看男主角方面，
王学圻之前就凭《十月围城》拿下了第45届台湾金马奖的最佳男主角，
在这部电影里精湛和内敛的演技让他夺奖的呼声最高。
但也不能小看入围两个名单的任达华，
尤其是在《岁月神偷》里饰演一名鞋匠和父亲的角色更是获得了许多影评人的嘉许，
绝对不能小觑他的实力。
刘青云和郭富城凭《窃听风云》和《杀人犯》也双双入围了最佳男主角，
算是属于黑马的人选。

相对于最佳男主角，
本届的最佳女主角的悬念好像比较明显，
是位于吴君如和惠英红之争。
巧合的是，
两位都是凭着饰演母亲的角色而入围的，
不同的是戏里母亲的性格。
一个是贤妻良母，
另一个是内心住着“心魔”的妈妈。
两位都是很好的人选，
一个是我心中超级搞笑天后，
另一个是电视剧有名的武打女，
但两人都凭着和以往很不同类型的演出成功出位，
所以两人之间的竞争力最大。
反看其他的入围者，
像是赵薇，舒淇以及张静初，
她们的夺奖希望好像不比两位前者来得高，
但张静初好像在《天水围的夜与雾》的表现也是很不错的。

最佳电影方面，
就有去年很多部的大片，
像是入围最多项的的《十月围城》，
还有《赤壁：决战天下》、《窃听风云》和《新宿事件》，
这四部电影小弟都看过了，
觉得《十月围城》最热门~

鹿死谁手，
将会在明天一一的揭晓。
我想明天我应该会做个全职宅男，
呆在家里不踏出门半步！
哈哈！

my team leader told me:
"You better enjoy your time in the gym,
coz you might not be able to do that 6 months later~"
And my senior overheard the conversation,
he popped out and said:
"What 6 months ar? Maybe 3 months only lo, haha!"

WTF =.="'

Am I gonna be THAT busy in the future?
Will I have time for gym sessions?
How about my studies?
Now I'm wondering that....

Mode of study

For those who are currently working, do you plan to further your study, be it a master degree or professional qualification? If yes, what is your prefer mode of study?To resign from your current job and study full-time? Opt for part-time evening or weekend classes? Or even self-study?

Recently I'm in the consideration of furthering my study by taking up professional qualification, and therefore, choosing the mode of study would be one of the decisions that I have to make. Well, studying full-time at the moment doesn't make sense to me since I'm only few months into my job and most importantly, I need to earn bucks to fund the course fee!!!

So, it seems more logic to go for evening or weekend classes, but I'm afraid in certain time, or in the future, when the work loads are getting heavier, I would tend to skip classes as I wouldn't want to leave my work unfinished before leaving for class and get scolded on the next day right? However, the good thing of studying part-time is that I would have lecturers and course mates as my study supports whenever I came across with any questions.

Apart from that, I just got to know that I can also opt for self-study, by just purchasing the study materials, and the rest of the story is all based on my own study planning and efforts., plus it is much cheaper since you don't have to pay for tuition fee! ^.^ Obviously the flexibility of this study mode is much higher than the rest, and I think I've used to so called "self-study" during university time as some of the lecturers didn't really do their jobs well :P The down side of this would be lack of study network and supports, and the doubts in my mind might not be solved until I dig deep into tons of books and articles!

You see, now I realized that being a full-time undergraduate was something that everyone should cherish, as you pretty don't have much things to worry about other than getting good grades and get your degree. To work and study at the same time would definitely become a brand new challenge that I have to deal with, and the outcome is uncertain, sigh! So if you are complaining being a full-time undergraduate is tough, think about it again...

Well, maybe I would go for self-study first, and if I'm not able to cope with the syllabus, (hopefully it won't happen), going for part-time mode would be the next option. What do you think?

愚人节的悲剧

以前小时候对愚人节都有特别的主意，
原因是要计划怎样作弄别人，
还有怎样防备被他人玩弄。

印象中最深刻的愚人节是在我中二的那一年，
班上有位个同学在三月的时候就邀请我到他的生日派对。
当时的我一口就答应了，
也很紧张地去准备买他的生日礼物，
到茨场街的大众书局买了一个stationery holder。
怎知道在他所谓“生日”的那一天，
我打电话问他几点来载我去他家，
他却在电话那头狂笑说"Happy April Fool!"

哇靠！
当时心里还真的有够生气！
老妈好奇地问我说为何还没去的时候，
我就一五一十地告诉她我被人家作弄了。
结果没想到老妈的火比我更大，
立刻要我打电话给我那位朋友，
然后狂骂了他一餐！*爽*
说玩笑怎么可以玩那么大，
礼物也花了不少钱（RM15对当时的我可说是非常的数额！），
骂了我朋友以后结果我也被她教训了一顿！
星期一回到课室我们就没有再打招呼了，
冷战了有一段的时间。

所以经过那件事后，
凡在四月一日这一天，
任何人对我说的话我对会抱着半信半疑的态度，
为的就是防止“悲剧重演”，
哈哈！
如果你也想作弄你身边的朋友或爱人，
记得三思！

每当午餐来临的时候，
你和同事们就会开始在想等一下要吃什么，
但久久都没有答案。
其实并不是大家没有idea,
只是不敢或者是不好意思说出来，
怕不被他人接受。
拖拖拉拉的，
婆妈到。。。。！

所以下次当别人问你的时候，
记得“勇敢”的给于自己的意见，
不要在那边假假paiseh paiseh，
ok?

Buy a house

I know it might be too early, and I might not even "qualified" to think about it, but eyeing for a good property is what I've been thinking these days. I mean, after all, we all need a home by ourselves at the end of the day, is just a matter of time.

Having living in a sub-urban area for more than a decade, choosing a property within the same range is definitely a must. You can't ask me to live in an ulu kampung place mah since I've been a so called "city boy" for such a long time, haha! And for that, it comes with a heavy price of course! A apartment/condominium less than 1000 square feet in a decent area can easily goes up to RM250,000, excluding other miscellaneous fees such as legal, stamp duty, maintenance and of course, the ever-rising interest rate! Since our economy has slightly turning better, the BLR has increase by 25points since it reached the low at 2%.

However, everyone should knows that property values usually only increase, unless there's a bubble burst in the property market like what it happened during the 97 economy crisis. So, it seems logic for one to own a property as soon as they can as the value of our money is getting smaller from day to day. However, one should remember that by getting a loan, it means that your disposable income for the coming 30 years (let say if your loan tenure is 30 years) would be dramatically reduced as much as 1/3 of your monthly income. What makes the situation worse is that usually housing loan is only one of the many loans burdened by many working class people, so we should also take into consideration other commitments such as car loan, PTPTN, insurance and etc. At the end of the day, you might only have 1/8 of your monthly income to spend on daily expenses. How pathetic that can be, but sadly it happens to many.

If you can own your own a decent property before 28 years old, I bet you would be envied by many, coz it is almost like a "mission impossible" to the young working adult nowadays, unless they have a "solid and supportive" family background *aaheemm* Nonetheless, I definitely encourage everyone to conduct a research of their ideal house soon or later, so by the time you have the purchasing power and the good opportunities come to you, you can easily grab the chance to make a deal for your ideal house.

Now I have another target set, which is to buy myself a house before I hit the age of 30, 28 years old if possible! :P I know it would be hard, but if you never try, you would never know right? Let's keep the finger crossed first :)

Power Jump

When you work your heart out, you will experience things that you never thought you would. Seriously...

Since I was planning to go to gym this evening, I thought maybe I can give the Power Jump class a try coz it looks fun when I had a "sneak preview" last week. Since there was still an hour to go when I arrived the gym, I jogged on the treadmill for 30 minutes before I continue with other cardio workouts. Not feeling really tired, so I thought I would be able to continue the Power Jump class later. But I was so wrong after the first 15 minutes of the class.....

Holy cowww *%*%#$&#@$!&#! That thing is not fun at all! I mean, Power Jump should be fun, IF you have the stamina and energy to compromise it. Instead, I was jumping like an idiot who is having some hard time synchronizing the body movements and keeping up with the instructor's pace. I was so tired and exhausted and yet, the instructor keeps saying "Harder!", "Higher!", "Come on, 3 more!" and xxx xxx xxx! Arghhhh! I shouldn't be working out so long before the class. Haiz! Next time must conserve some energy for this "bouncy" session.

Seriously, if you think Power Jump is really easy, you should try it at least once for yourself. I can even see those really fit guys and ladies are struggling through the class, haha! But anyway, even though now my body is so freaking tired and numb, I feel really good after the entire 50 minutes session, and will definitely continue to attend this class until I can jump like a monkey! Haha!

The whole t-shirt was so bloody wet btw! Yeahh~ Burn all those fats away! :P

My exhausting first-time, ooopss!

Today I lost my virginity, again. Don't get me wrong, there's nothing to do with my *ahhemm*, it was only about giving my very first visit to a commercial gym. I never been to any commercial gym before this as I usually only play sports, and it has been long ignored especially after graduated from university, which subsequently makes my body weight shoot up like the stock market! and those inches on my waist and body as well >.<

Since it was my first time, I didn't have any experience in using those exercise machines, felt totally like a noob! But after some experiments finally I managed to start my real exercises, guess I gotta go for few more times before getting familiarize with all of them. Started off with the treadmill, and proceed to abdominal exercises, shoulder-press and ended with a machine which I don't know the name of it :P Will definitely try some other machines in the future, or might go to classes like body combat or RPM as they look really interesting!

Anyway, today was really tiring, but it feels SO good to sweat like there's no tommorow! Haha! Getting the ideal body shape needs a lot of determination and hard work, and it's not gonna be an easy job, especially when you have start working. Hence, I believe one of the best ways is to commit myself to a gym membership, and make it a habit to exercise regularly since I wouldn't want the fee I paid worth for nothing.

So what are you waiting for? Start exercise now peeps! ^.^

深造

上个周末我去了城中两个教育展，
因为目前有想要继续深造的打算。
虽然半工半读会很辛苦，
不过我不想浪费获得professional qualification的机会，
加上为了更好的工作前途，
无论如何都得读下去的！

在教育展里，
你可以看到很多内心满怀着热诚和希望的年轻人，
和他们的父母在询问关于课程的问题。
我曾经何时也像他们一样，
对未来大学生涯的那种期待和盼望，
一眼就能从他们的笑容的眼神就能看到了。
想不到转眼间，
我已经从象牙塔走进这个社会里，
学习着如何在残酷的现实里当中找寻生存之道。

孩子们期待和热诚的背后，
就是父母们要付出的代价。
现在的私立教育，
便宜的话一辆kancil就能搞定，
若你想要成为医生牙医之类的，
肯定不会少过在吉隆坡置产的数额。
若想要过海“浸盐水”，
那肯定要过百万了！
不知道当孩子在了解课程的过程，
他们只不知道父母的算盘快要被打到烂了呢？

有些父母为了让孩子有更好的教育，
不惜每日省吃省用，
有的还到银行借贷为孩子筹备教育费，
心里希望的就是以后他们又比较好的生活，
晚年的时候也可以和孩子过的好一些。
其实这是父母们其中一项重大的投资，
因为它包括了巨大的金额，
而且“回酬率”并没有任何的保障，
的确是一个超级高风险的投资计划!
若将来孩子并没有如愿般的孝顺或成功，
那么这项投资可说是“冻过水”了。

朋友，
若以后毕业带着四方帽的时候，
除了感谢自己历年来的埋头苦干，
也切记父母在你成绩背后所付出过的泪水和汗滴，
毕竟这一切得来不易，
并不是很多人相像中的理所当然。。。

感动你の歌

说到经典好歌，
老实说我并没有很喜欢，
但也没特别的讨厌。
不过，
若你在对的时候仔细欣赏它们时，
你会发现它们的魅力所在处。

最近偶然看见新加坡歌手陈伟联上《超级星光大道》，
他在PK比赛里所演唱的歌曲，
就是年龄和我应该有那么上下的《大海》，
是张雨生的佳作之一。

我并不是张雨生的粉丝，
但当《大海》这首歌被陈伟联唱的时候，
第一个感觉就是鸡皮疙瘩，
听着是会感到鼻酸，（莫非这就是感动？？？）
感觉怎么会那么好听啊！
好像比原唱着更来的动人。
张雨生的演唱是属于澎湃系的，
但陈伟联在这首歌里是唱的则是比较清新自然的feel，
本人觉得非常棒！

几年前陈伟联也上过《康熙来了》，
在节目里演唱了费玉清的《一剪梅》，
也是感动到不得了！

Money-sucking vampire

Due to unknown reasons, I started to have this annoying running nose since Sunday night. I thought things would get better in the next morning, but unfortunately it didn't. Went to work with 2 packets of tissues, but after lunch time, instead of 2 packets of tissues, I only had dozens of "wantans" on my workstation =.="' Things got worse when my throat starts to feel irritated besides having dry cough. As much I hate to do this (ya rite!), eventually I took medical leave and went back home to see doctor for medication.

After the usual "express" consultation session with the doctor, the entire medical bill costs me a whopping 46bucks! Fuuulaammak! WTH...! I remember last year when I was there for the same medical reason, it didn't cost more than 40bucks, probably around RM38. But now it has increased to RM46, a 21.05% of increment! Nothing has changed except for extra nurse (does he even need that since there wasn't many patients), or maybe higher electric tariff (I only see wall fan lo, no aircond okay!). So it doesn't make sense to me to charge this high on the medical bill! Anyway, thank God I don't have to pay the bill, can claim from company with the receipt. But still, I need to fork out my own money to pay first, which definitely hurts....

I believe when we were young, we could always hear people always said they wanna be a doctor for the reason that they want to save people's lives, help the needed one for a better life and yada yada yada...!!! But now, looking back to all the medical expenses that I have paid, I think they are actually sucking our money for their better lives instead. Imagine if there are at least 20 patients in a day, say a patient is paying RM40 in average, the doctor is actually making RM800 a day, which means RM24,000 in a month! Impressive huh? Maybe next time I should visit 1Malaysia clinic instead ^.^

Now I wonder why I didn't choose to become a doctor? Hmmm......

Did I make myself sound really eager/desperate for work? =.=" Maybe my offers to help gave her such "illusion" that I'm a desperado who is hunger for work tho. Well, it can be boring at times where you could only stare at those super complicated financial reports without getting a single clue what are those figures about. Really need some practices and guidance to familiar myself with my job scopes. Guess I gotta WAIT until my fellow mentors done with their monthly closing first before I could officially "hands-on" my own portfolio.

Wait a minute. Did I just said I have to wait??? Ohh no! Not again...

哦买尬！我的BMI竟然。。。

今天先不谈关于新工作的话题，
等到一个月后才在这里发牢骚吧！:P

今天是元宵节，
也是华人所谓的情人节，
所以在这里祝福天下有情人终成眷属，
幸福快乐，
huuuuattt arrr!!!

可能是最近觉得身材向横发展了，
所以对自己的体重特别敏感，
差不多每个一天就会测量体重，
真担心每天都会有新的纪录产生 =.="
虽然身边的朋友都觉得我不会胖，
但他们都不知道我“深藏不露”的功夫有多厉害！
哈哈！

如果要测量自己的体重是否健康，
其中一个方法就是透过BMI的算法。
若你不知道BMI (Body Mass Index)是什么东东，
大可在此寻获解释。

结果显示，
小弟的BMI尚算正常，
暂时还没有overweight，
Yayyy!

我不是烂赌鬼！

新年除了吃到饱死之外，
另一样必做的事情就是赌啦。
说到赌博这门儿学问，
小弟可算是精通十八班“赌艺”啊！
*注：精通赌艺和烂赌可是两门不同的事，决不能混在一起来说okay? :P

回想起在大一的时候，
我和两位室友到朋友的房间里狂赌一番！
从晚上的9点钟一直连续至隔天的早上8点钟，
然后再扫扫屁股去上课！
还有，
我也曾经和好友打麻将一直到隔天的早上，
才肯回房休息！
强吧？
哈哈！

不过，
这东西并没有什么值得骄傲吧？:P

不知何时开始，
每逢农历新年下“赌海”，
结果总是输！
而且一年比一年多！=.="
到底是我没有横财运，
还是赌技已大不如前了？

Anyway,
人家常说不赌博其实就是赢了。

Mobile phone = Essential???

Remember those days where our lives without mobile phones? When you want to contact someone, the only mean for you is to either make phone calls to their home, or visit them in person. I only received my first mobile phone when I first entered college back in 2004, which I think is consider as "old and late" to own a mobile phone. It was a Nokia 8250, a second hand one of course as my mum wouldn't allow me to have a brand new one :(

It used to a very canggih phone leh...

Take a look people around you. Even kids in primary school nowadays have mobile phones, where some are even more high-tech than mine >.< Anyway, that's not my main concern now. What I would like to say is that we, human being, have start to rely too much on mobile phone when getting in touch with someone, so much that if a person doesn't pick up your calls or reply your messages, you tend to freak out. You start to have all the non-sense thoughts in your head, getting worried and clueless with things going on there and yet, there's nothing you can do as you don't know how to get to the person anymore. This happens quite frequently especially between parents/children, family members, and couples as well. I'm sure if one day you misplaced your mobile phone or too busy to pick up any calls, your dad/mum/brother/sister/boyfriend/girlfriend would be freaked out a big time and wish they could do anything to get you on the phone.

I wish I'm not exaggerating but unfortunately, this is the truth. In fact, it has happened to me, and the people around me, for more than once. Maybe one day, or somehow, the mobile phone manufacturers would invent a super high-tech phone that can be injected into our brain, so that we can always contact the person by just a thought of it, without physically holding to a gadget. That would be like Professor Xavier or Doctor Jean Grey in the X-men movie! How cool is that huh?

Now that's what I means by "Connecting People", Nokia!

Hospitalized

Don't worry, folks. I'm absolutely fine here, still healthy as always! Maybe just some minor running nose at times :P But anyway, the victim which is being hospitalized right now is my beloved camera. Poor thing! Few days ago when I was about to take photos, the first thing I noticed when I switch on my camera was a freaking long line on the LCD screen! Arghhh! Freaked me out definitely! According to my friend, he said the line might be caused by force on the LCD screen, which I doubt coz usually I sayang her alot leh! How I sampai hati to hurt her like this...

Haiz...

Anyway, today I finally brought it to Canon Service Centre in Saujana Resort for repair, and after the technician did some rough checking on my camera, it is confirmed that the LCD screen need to be replaced. And of course, to my not so surprise, it costs a bloody RM192 for a tiny 3-inch piece of spare part!!!! Fuiyooo, really suck my blood kao kao before CNY! But what to do, don't want to see my pretty camera having such big flaw on its gorgeous screen, have to hospitalized it for a night before I pick it up tomorrow.

还记得当我还在大一刚进入大学时，
我还记得曾经何时有一位学姐告诉我过这一句话
“Always hope for the best, prepare for the worst"。
到目前为止它经常还会在我的脑海里不时的出现，
提醒我以后凡是做任何事都要秉着这个念头，
要不然的话，
怕得越高，
只会跌得越伤。

很可惜的是，
这次的工作面试我失败了。
当然，
心情糟透了！
经过了那么多重重的难关，
过关斩将了那么久，
到最后还是敌不过宿命的安排，
死于沙场。
感觉就像是把我带到了世界的顶峰后，
又狠狠地一脚把我踹下去。
虽然心里已经做好最坏的打算，
但当它真的发生的时候，
很多事情真的不在我们的掌控之中。

那一夜，
眼角不知觉滑落了苦涩的眼泪，
心好久没这么疼痛了。
这种感觉，
就好像当初你说分手时，
那犹如千刀万剑刺进心里的折磨，
久久不能愈合。。。

路，
还是要走。
因此我会更加珍惜拥有，
展望更美好的未来。
你也一定要哦！

《锦衣卫》首映礼

昨天有幸受Elyn小姐的邀请，
到吉隆坡Pavillion观赏《锦衣卫》的首映礼。
除了要谢谢Elyn美女的邀请之外，
还要感谢前公司对这部电影的赞助，
要不然的话我们哪有这荣幸去首映礼呢？

首映礼的高潮非大帅哥吴尊和导演李仁港的出现莫属，
顿时引起现场观众的尖叫！
美眉们的功力可不是盖的哦！
而现场也有不少的巫裔美眉的出现，
可见吴尊的魅力还真厉害！
不过我必须说，
吴尊本人看起来真的很帅！
皮肤和身材都很棒，
真是羡慕到。。。>.< 不过很可惜的是电影中的两位主角没有出席。如果甄子丹和赵薇都能够出席这场首映礼的话，我想应该很够了吧？哈哈！注：由于照片是用手机拍的，虽经过修改，但素质有限，敬请原谅！:P

《锦衣卫》的故事简介可在此阅读。
据导演李仁港说这部电影在大陆的票房很不错，
相信在其他国家也应该会有所作为。
我觉得这部电影还算不错，
虽然中间有少许的闷场，
不过甄子丹的武打场面向来都是有看头的，
再加上有洪金宝、午马、罗家英等实力派演员的参与，
这部电影小弟给7.5分吧！

不过话说回来，
《锦衣卫》在大马适逢农历新年时上映，
算是一部贺岁电影。
但在农历新年看那么暴力的戏，
好像有点奇怪耶！
不过只要是好戏，
我想何时买票进场支持应该没关系吧？:)

p/s: 到底下个星期会不会知道结果呢？

I hate waiting, be it waiting for someone, waiting for public transport and of course, waiting for good news from my potential employers. I'm not joking but it is freaking suffering! No thanks to my lack of patience and the evil impulsion hidden deep inside me. Wish they could tell me soon or else my hair will continue to fall like leaves fell from the trees when winter comes :(

Right now I just can't stop thinking about the silly mistakes that I made yesterday. Wish I could handle those questions better. How could I be so dumb to ruin my chance!! Urghhh.. Wonder what was wrong with my freaking mind by giving such lame answers.

Why can't I just be steady like I did previously?

In my department, they might not be as efficient as everyone else out there. But, they are very fast and efficient when it comes to gossiping! Gosh, I have to admit that they are really that "efficient" in this area.

As you might have read from the earlier post that I've already tendered my resignation letter, this news has spread so fast that even H1N1 cannot catch its speed of light! Haha... Coz at the very next day, almost half of my colleagues in the department came to ask me about this issue. To my surprise, even those makciks whom I seldom mingle around have also heard about my resignation! Not only that, apparently my other colleagues who are far away in PJ and Johor also know about this! How cool is this? =.=" Maybe they should channel this kind of efficiency into their work, and I'm sure my company would have been far more successful than what they are at the moment.

Anyway, the days in office nowadays seems like forever. Since everyone already knows that I'm leaving soon, it seems like I'm slowly become invisible and transparent to them. Well, I guess it is normal huh? Is ok, just gotta physco myself to bear for another 2 more weeks and I'll be free! Woohoooo!

p/s: Now my hope to join Company A seems getting brighter! :)

最近身体很不舒服，
老是被伤风这老朋友纠缠，
真担心自己的鼻窦炎会卷土重来。
由于伤风时太过用力打喷嚏，
导致我的耳塞还挺严重的，
听觉好像“惨惨地”了！
说话时的鼻音也是几够力一下的 @.@

有人知道怎么把堵塞在耳朵里的空气弄出来吗？

今天下午趁着有病假去看Case 39这部电影。
本人觉得是很不错的一部作品，
是由奥斯卡影后Renee Zellweger领衔主演的惊悚电影。
故事大纲可在此看看吧，
哈哈！
不过整场戏整个人都处于高度紧张的状态，
每次都被剧里的桥段给吓到 =.="'
非常适合在戏院里观看，
因为比较容易被吓到嘛！
最近戏院又好像有很多好戏上映了，
其中有自己很想要看的“大日子 wohoo” 和“Legion”。
看来钱包又要出血了！

两难

不知是天意弄人，
还是命中注定，
寻找新工作的过程还真有够崎岖，
唉！
长话短说，
故事的简介如下：

A公司：
- 是心中首选的公司，比较高薪，地点也较靠近。
- 总共有两次考试，三次的面试。
- 目前已过了两个考试，一次的面试。
- 1月18日下午4pm获知得到第二次面试的机会。

B公司：
- 次要的选择。
- 一共有一次考试，一次面试。
- 1月14日获知自己被录取，也口头上答应了。
- 一定要在1月20日前签offer letter。
- 1月18日下午3.30pm到公司签了offer letter。

很可笑的是，
当我今天签了B公司的offer letter后的半小时，
A公司竟然打来邀请我到第二关的面试。
天啊！
怎么会这样啊！
还以为过不到第一关，
现在他们邀请我这个星期四去第二关的面试，
还真有够力的！=.="

现在的问题是，
若到时候我最终得到了A公司的offer，
那我岂不是要拒绝B公司的offer。
既然签了offer letter，
那我就得给一个月的notice，
要不然就得赔赏一个月的薪资，
最糟的可能会被B公司blacklisted，
把自己的名誉给搞砸了。
这也是我给自己最坏的打算了。

现在只能见步走步，
希望能尽快得到A公司的工作，
然后赶快拒绝B公司。
有时候还真想A公司尽快拒绝我，
免得我夜长梦多，
唉！

不知道有谁拥有小叮当的时光机啊？
是A公司吗？
还是B公司呢？

我还是说了。。。

经过多次的深思熟虑之后，
我终于和她说我要离开的决定。
离开她是为了自己，
为了更好的未来。
虽然前面的路会很幸苦，
但我相信长远来说会是值得的，
至少现在我是这么认为。

人家说休息是为了走更长的路，
那离开呢？
应该是为了走更美好的路吧？
希望不会对自己这决定感到后悔，
毕竟所牵涉到的并不只是前途和满足感，
还有一笔可观的金钱数额。

跟她说我要辞职的那一刻，
感觉自己解脱了。。。。。

忙vs闲

看见自己的朋友们都为工作忙得透不过气来，
我却在这里抱怨工作有点太空闲 =.="'
是不是很贱啊？:P

老实说，
如果给我选择的话，
我宁愿工作不要太空闲，
因为不时的忙碌能够让一个人觉得有充实感，
容易觉得工作对自己更有意义和满足感。

每天早上起床的时候，
脑子里都会设下今天应该做的事，
应该要达到的目标。
很可笑的是，
当我仔细想的时候，
发现好像没什么事可以做的,
甚至有时候开始觉得自己好像很没用，
唉！
我想，
最大的原因是因为对现任的工作一点都不感兴趣，
才会觉得它泛泛无味，
无味的来又带点折磨人的痛苦。（还着人情，没办法！）

在公司渡秒如年的日子真的很难熬，
现在的我只想好好把握接下来面试的机会，
找到心中理想的工作，
然后挥一挥衣袖离开这“天堂”，
不带走任何云彩，
哈哈！

明天该做些什么好呢?

Wooohooo! Finally another 100 posts for my blog, making this the 201st post in ho-lluxion! *clapclap*

Sometimes I'm quite surprise with myself for able to making this blog survive for quite sometime since its establishment back in year 2007. Can't believe it has been here for more than 3 years! Kudos to me! Haha... :P

Anyway, life is back to normal after the 1 week plus long holidays which just ended on the past Sunday. Kinda sad but hey, reality is I have to work in order to survive in this cruel society, where things are all about money, money, and MONEY!!! Can you imagine youself living in KL without any job? Sometimes I even had the idea of going to some kampung place where I can stay out of this world, where there's no streamyx (Can't blog and FB!), no Astro, no cinemas (Means you gonna miss Avatar!), no shopping and etc! Don't think I can survive though, haha!

Right now I'm already looking for a job change, not really liking what I'm currently doing (Well, I didn't ask for this position at the first place...) Had already applied for few jobs but so far the responses are not that encouraging yet. Maybe the HR are still on holidays??? Hopefully by the mid of this month I could receive some good news from them. Just gotta be more positive right now.... *finger-crossed*

2010 first post!

Yay! Happy New Year guys! Finally it is 2010, another 2 more years to go before the doom day arrives :P Anyway, yesterday didn't go to anywhere coz I'm pretty sure every single corner in Klang Valley was jam packed with you, you and you! Don't really like to stuck in those situation, that's why my new year eve was spent at home playing DotA, haha!

So I guess is time for a brand new year resolution? There you go:

1. To have a leaner body
- Seriously I think I need to tone up my body before my metabolism starts to get slower. I know is hard to reduce my intake of all the super delicious Malaysian food (nasi lemak, bakkutteh, satay and the list goes on and on...) and my favourite junk food, so the only way to overcome this is by doing more exercise! Getting a fitness gym membership perhaps?

Would die to have this body!

2. Higher salary
- I guess this is what the general would loves to have. Not really satisfying with my current job (I didn't ask for this position at the first place), so might want to have a job switch to another company, which hopefully with higher salary too! :P

Money money money! ^.^

3. Shanghai World Expo 2010
- This event is definitely in my to-do-list in 2010! Imagine yourself in the centre of different world cultures and all the awesome looking pavilions and structures. Plus I haven't been to China before. I'm sure it's gonna be super awesome and eye-opening experience! Anyone going as well?

4. More investment & savings
- The current inflation and rising of commodities prices are increasing way faster than your salary increment. So I believe in order to survive during your retirement life, or to buy more assets in the coming time, you must start to invest as young as possible, be it buying stocks, bonds, mutual fund and blah blah blah. You can enjoy your life now by spending more, or suffer later during your late life. So, what are you waiting for? Jom invest sama-sama! :)

5. Stay young & fresh :P
- It's kinda sad to know that you are no longer the 18 year old kid who can mingles around with your buddies and yet, no need worry anything about your future. With so many commitments and workloads tying up, one can easily gets old and look fatigue and dull. So must make sure I look good all the time lar! I wouldn't want one day a small kid come to me and ask:"UNCLE UNCLE, can you show me how to go to McDonalds ar?" =.="

This is what I'm talking about @.@

So that's about it. 5 resolutions isn't alot right? Haha...

11人久违的相聚，
心里的确有点不习惯。
或许是太久没见了，
不知道该说些什么好，
整晚的话题都离不开工作和读书，
也许是因为这样比较容易得到彼此的共鸣吧！
客套话更是用不尽，
感觉仿佛像是才刚认识的朋友似的。

要感谢C小姐为这次聚会的付出，
还有那小小的生日惊喜:)
说真的,
要把所有的人聚在一起真不容易，
尤其当大家各自为生活与未来忙碌的时候更是难上加难。
晚上当我送C小姐回家的路途时，
她问我说，
除了平时有见面的同学之外，
难道我感受不到大家其实并没有表面上的那样亲近吗？
她说同学之间那种clicked together instantly的感觉并不存在。

我想，
或许大家都有了自己的生活圈子，
再加上大家并没有时常联络，
对于旧同学之间的感情难免冷淡。
也或许是，
大家从来都没有重视过这份友情,
把它放在心上。。。

从来都觉得朋友“在精不在多”。
人生宁有两三个知己谈心交道，
都不愿和数百的过路人狂欢作乐。。。

昨天书架上又增添了多一位成员。
这本书老早就已想要买了，
只是每当去大众书局寻找只能空手而归。
幸好昨天有幸到KLCC的Kinokuniya，
不费任何时间就看到这本书摆在新书上架的位置！^.^

这本到底是什么书呢？

也就是本人的偶像之一，
小S的《心机母女》啦！

《心机母女》

贵为《康熙来了》忠实粉丝的我，
不知何时已经开始追看这超kuso的谈话性节目。
小S的主持风格更是颠倒传统女主持人的style，
深受年轻一族的人欢迎。
所以当知道她出了这一本书后便开始往书局找，
一直到昨天有机会去Kinokuniya才能买得到。

这本书是在描述小S和她两位女儿的心机大作战，
更始以亲手作画的漫画方式呈现给大家，
所以喜欢看漫画的你可能也会喜欢这一本书。（但图画的水准当然不能相提并论啦！）
本身觉得有点像蜡笔小新那样的废和无厘头，
非常搞笑。

《十月围城》

经过多番波折，
昨晚终于看了一部我觉得很不错的电影，
那就是《十月围城》。
虽然这部电影已开始并不是我的首选，
但基于Avatar的戏票已经卖光，
所以才会选择这部电影。

单看这部电影的卡司，
就已经算是星光熠熠了。
黎明、曾志伟、甄子丹、谢霆锋、李宇春、范冰冰、任达华、胡军等人，
还有张学友（kelefeh到不行，哈哈！）和李嘉欣的客串演出呢！
众多实力派演员的参与，
再加上吴君如老公陈可辛的指导，
让许多人对这部年底压轴片有所期待。

虽然故事情节中间有少许的闷场，
不过整体来讲好看过《风云2》多多倍！
故事的后半段更是扣人心弦，
非常紧凑。
武打场面有甄子丹压场，
当然一点都不会逊色啦！
第一次看到黎明演乞丐的角色尚算新鲜，
超级女声冠军李宇春的表现还算可以。
曾志伟的警司演得很“可爱”呢！:P

我想这部电影肯定值回票价的！

胃口

不知曾经何时开始，
我发觉自己的胃口已大不如前。
可能是随着年纪的增长，
胃口已大大地缩水了。

晚餐时看见表弟妹用餐的分量，
发觉自己已经不再发育时期了，
碗中的米饭只是他们年轻人的四分之一，
少得可怜，
但已足够让我的肚腩感到温饱。

原来，
时间是最残酷的现实，
唉！

要吃吗？^.^

风云II

昨晚晚餐后临时决定去戏院看《风云2》这部电电影。
自从看了这部电影的预告片之后，
就已决定非看不可了。
因为相比十几年前，
里面所采用的特效技术明显地进步了许多，
再加上三位天王（郭富城、郑伊健、任达华）的参与，
所以才会对这部电影充满了期待。

很可惜的是，
它并没有我想象中那么的好看 :(
而且还有不少的冷场。
或许是因为不习惯导演以漫画式拍摄出来的效果，
也有可能是因为整部电影缺乏有力的戏剧张力，
才会让它看起泛泛无味，
和第一集相比之下逊色不少。

我还记得在电影的最后一部份聂风说一句超级老土的对白，
就连TVB本身也应该很久没用它了。
当步惊云掉落悬崖时，
武功高强的聂风竟然对三脚猫功夫的第二梦说：“你让我跳下去吧！别拉住我啦！”
老土到。。。。。
试想若聂风真的有心要跳下去的话，
柔弱的第二梦有何本能阻止他呢？

或许，
这部电影就像任达华在电影里其中一句对白所说的，
“风云再现，不堪一击”。。。

My new toy!

Yesterday I went to PC Fair (super crowded as usual =.=") and finally, after a back and forth consideration, brainstorming, analysis, research and yada yada yada, I bought myself this brand new toy.

Ladies and gentlemen, please put your hands up for my brand new netbook!

I name this new toy as "Mini-me", haha!

Here's the brief specsifications of Asus Eee PC 1005HA:

合艾游记

11月26日（星期四）

由于乘搭长途巴士去，所以必须乘搭公共交通到Pudu巴士站。可悲的是，我国的公共交通再次令我失望，它竟然在KL Sentral的前一站，也就是Angkasapuri Station暂停服务！=.="' 他x的，好死不死竟然在前一站才坏！幸好车站隔壁有巴士经过，才能免去迟到一事。衰的事情不只是这哦，当我们要上巴士时发现它不是我们想象中所谓的21座位的样子。我们所得到的只是普通的33个位子的巴士，所谓的VVIP/ Business Class seats 并没有得到，原因是那辆巴士坏了，所以才会被迫换巴士。若你以为最衰的事已经完了，那你就大错特错了！因为接下来的事可算是我人生中最恐怖的噩梦！那就是大塞车！从吉隆坡到合艾通常只需要大约8小时的车程就可抵达，但是这一次我们竟然从晚上10点一直到隔天的中午12点钟才抵达合艾市中心，总共花了14个小时的时间！可想而知，被迫坐在那么窄的位置14个小时真的把我们全都折磨透了！

怎样？多人吧？

11月27日（星期五）

经过了一番的折腾后，到合艾时已经是中午时分了。其实在泰国南部的Custom浪费了很多的时间，因为遇上公共假期，所以难免会比较多人去游玩，所以才会在Custom那里呆了比较久。值得一提的事，当你到泰国Custom时，当他们在检查你的护照时会跟你比1或2的手势，意思就是要你付1或2令吉（2令吉是因为Public holiday的关系，普通日子为1令吉 =.="'）为他们的Service Fee a.k.a Duit Kopi。若当天一共有10万个游客经过此地，可想而知他们所赚到的并不少哦!

到了合艾第一样做的当然是吃啦! 由于大伙儿都饿坏了,所以决定到Lee Garden Plaza Hotel的Sky Buffet用餐。位于33楼的Sky Buffet是全合艾最高的餐厅，在餐厅内可观望全合艾的景色。最重要的，每位的收费只需要149baht，相等于RM15左右，是不是歹到烂勒？哈哈！至于食物方面味道还不错，有沙拉，炸鸡（一级棒！），Tomyam，咖喱猪等美食，冰淇淋也是任拿的哦！哈哈！有机会千万别错过啦！

小休一会儿后，是时候给疲累的身体来个传统泰国按摩啦！在合艾按摩非常便宜，2小时只收费240baht罢了，包你按到爽爽！结果不出我所预料，刚开始时非常不习惯被人手毛脚乱，不过后来觉得越来越舒服，结果还爽到睡着了！:P 安娣的“功夫”可不是盖的！哈哈~

11月28日（星期六）

早上10点钟我们乘着租来的客货车到远离合艾市附近的几个景点游玩。由于没什么值得一提的事情，所以请各位看看照片吧！

回到合艾已经是下午2点钟了，可能是因为之前我们没“帮衬”司机所介绍的参观（因为一点都不便宜！），他把我们9人丢到一个不知道叫什么咚咚的市场购物。从它的外观看起来的确很想我们这里的巴刹，附近更是围满了许多小贩挡口贩卖着蔬菜水果。很难想象我会在这里大开杀戒！这市场里买的是许多不同类型的物品，从衣物饰品到海鲜蔬果，应有尽有！不过环境并不是那么的理想，闷热得来又带点异味。若非合艾没像曼谷那么棒的购物中心，我想我肯定不会来这地方。不过大伙儿还是可以在这里买个痛快，包括我在内！哈哈！

来到泰国，我们又怎能放过这里的7-11呢？我真的希望我们的7-11能像泰国那里的那么棒！除了价钱便宜之外，选择更是繁多！所以在我们还没回过之前大家都在这里疯狂扫货一番，疯狂程度令人咂舌！哈哈~ 我本身就买了5瓶超便宜的yogurt drink，10种不同口味的饼条等等！没办法，老毛病是很难改的啦！

由于早上的巴士票全部售完，所以我们一部分的人只能乘搭12点的巴士回吉隆坡。趁早上还有少许时间，我们去了Lee Garden Plaza里的Swensen's好好享受。若你还不知道，泰国Swensen's的价格比我们这里来的便宜，所以当然不可能放过尝试它的机会啦！

想不到老天爷先给我们尝过一些甜头，后面的苦头真是有够难受！当距离泰国custom约一公里时就发现了那超级长的车龙。当我们从巴士步行到关卡时，看见的只能用人山人海来形容那里的情况！又是一大群人排队等待回国！！！结果在泰国关卡总共呆了两个小时才能离开 =.="' 但是，在大马的情况也好不到哪里去，眼前所见的又是一堆人在等着过关，所以又在那里呆了一个小时 =.="' =.="' 更糟的还没说！因为当我们在南北大道行驶约15分钟左右罢了，就已经开始在塞车了！天啊！你能想象我们一路从玻璃市州一路塞到吉隆坡吗？那种感觉真的很难受，难受到不知道要怎样告诉你们。经过了16个小时的车程，我们才回到Pudu车站。回到家已经是隔天早上5点半的事了 =.="' =.="' =.="'

算了算，我们来回泰国总共花了差不多30个小时的时间！我想坐飞机来回伦敦应该也有不需要那么久的时间吧？所以在这里要慎重告诉大家，千万千万不要在佳节时去合艾！就算要去也要搭飞机去，要不然的话在家休息会是更明智的选择！（不过目前为止亚航还没直飞合艾的班机）我觉得合艾大致上还不错，但是还是觉得曼谷比这里来的好玩许多，物品价格不但比较便宜，（感觉上合艾被大马和新加坡人给弄贵了）而且也比较多好玩的地方。不过，我还是挺享受这次的旅游。难得能够和一班知心好友同游，我想也能算是一种幸福吧？或许以后当大家都开始忙于自己的工作或生活时，要一起旅行的机会应该非常少了。朋友，若你已经许久没和好友出游了，现在该是时候计划一下咯！

在多两个小时，
我将会到泰国合艾来个3天2夜游。
这也将会是我第一次乘搭那么久的长途巴士（好像是8个小时），
希望到时候屁股不会开花咯！>.<

这次的旅游是一班大学老友毕业后难得的一次聚会，
所以主要的目的应该不会是像在曼谷时疯狂地购物啦！（应该没什么好买吧？）
而且也应该好好反省自己的花钱方式，
要不然的话以后会死得很惨！

Thoughts of the week

It has been almost 3 weeks since I joined this position. I can see things more clearer now, such as the general working environment and culture, get to understand my colleagues better, who are those you can't mess with, or those that I mingle around well, and the challenges installed for me along the way. Workload has definitely starting to pile up one by one, and the real challenge is yet to come. So I guess it is not that easy after all working as account management, just gotta make it work! ^.^

On the other hand, I was able to watch "2012" yesterday night in MidValley. What a spectacular production of Roland Emmerich, who is also the producer and director of my other favorite disaster-themed movies, "The Day After Tomorrow" as well as "Independence Day". Folks, just make sure you guys don't miss out this movie, two thumbs up for this masterpiece! :) Oh ya, just remember to purchase your tickets online if possible coz you wouldn't want to join the other crowd in the super long queue =.="

Going to have a short road trip tomorrow to Port Dickson. Ya, I know is kinda lame and boring, but who cares. As long as I get my replacement leave, nothing else matters :P So, sunshine and beach, here I come!

I could imagine if AirAsia doesn't sell their tickets online but through the normal ticket counters, the queue to grab those free seats would be from KL Sentral office all the way to MidValley, or perhaps further? Haha..

Anyway, I'm sure by now at least a quarter of the nation has logged into AirAsia's website to check out the latest FREE SEATS sale, and I'm one of the millions who did that of course! And with so many time and patience sacrificed, taaaaaa daaaahhh, I'm one of the proud customers who managed to grab the super cheap flight to Bandung, Indonesia for only RM45 per pax for a return flight which includes airport tax in Malaysia as well as the baggage fees (You only pay Indonesia airport tax on the spot when you are there). It's sooooooooo cheap lo seriously. So isn't it something to celebrate for?

Wait a minute, didn't I actually mentioned that I would love to go to Taipei? Well, apparently their sale fare to Taipei isn't that significantly cheaper from their usual fare, plus the timing to Taipei isn't the best, so we opt for our next best option, which is Bandung. (So now I can have more budget for my netbook too, isn't it? :P)

Mind you, AirAsia has started to impose another fee called "convenience fee" (Weird name to me tho, sounds just like the DaiEeLong's "protection fee", just that it's AirAsia's version :P). This fee is imposed to customers who pay their flight tickets using credit card, and if I'm not mistaken it costs about RM5 per pax per way. So even though AirAsia has abolished the fuel surcharge and admin fees, Uncle Tony isn't that dumb to let his business earns nothing. If you haven't realise , the baggage fee for a normal weight of not more than 15kg baggage has also increased to RM10 from the previous RM5. So afterall they are trying to cover the loss of admin fees by charging the customers this and that. For me it is totally fair, as long as the customers are well notified with such charges and increments.

By now I think half of the million seats offered should be snapped up already. So if you haven't grab your seats yet, please do so RIGHT NOW or else you will have to wait for the next free seat sale, which I think should be 6 months from now.

So ladies and gentlemen, AirAsia FREE SEATS sale is back, again! As what I saw in the Redalert email sent by them, one-way all-in airfare to Taipei would only cost RM99!!! Holy shit! Is THAT cheap lo... Damn! How one could resists such offer???

It looks like my plan to buy a brand new netbook (The mouth-watering Asus Eee PC... Arghh!) is hanging on the thread again as I would have to save up a sum of money for the trip. Maybe I should get a second hand netbook instead, or maybe I should start to eat plain white bread and drink plain water during lunch time, or even no more movie outings or DotA sessions at cybercafé in the coming months… >.<

By now you should be busy checking your coming schedule with your family or buddies for coming holiday. If not I’m sure you would miss out the opportunity of getting the right flight at the right time.

太平（三）之太平湖篇

若你嫌太平的po太多，那很不好意思，因为接下来还是要和大家分享更多关于有关太平的东西，哈哈！

出发咯！

途中遇见的前年老树

去过太平的人都应该不会错过太平湖a.k.a Taman Tasik Taiping a.k.a Taiping Lake Gardens吧？很庆幸自己没有被当初的懒散而错过此地方（因为有空闲时老子都只在房间里Dota-ing!），因为太平湖算是目前为止我到过最漂亮的湖泊公园。这里的风景如诗入画、山清水秀、江山如画、青山绿水、诗情画意、花红柳绿。。。。。。。。。。。实属难得的美景啊！也难怪每到傍晚时份都能看见男女老幼到此散散步、谈谈情，一家大小共享天伦之乐。听说在周末是更加多人，因为不少外坡的旅客都会到这儿游玩。这地方那么红，也不是没有道理的。

太平湖真的非常大哦，应该有5各足球场那么大吧？所以若你想要绕着湖边慢走一圈，恐怕也得花上一定的时间和体力。所以常来这里运动的人体力应该非常好咯？

2. 天气篇

说到太平，第一件联想到的肯定是它超多雨量的天气。果然百闻不如一见，在太平的三个星期里没有一天是不下雨的！我没夸大，是真的！轻则一天一次，重则一天三次，就好像早午晚餐一样哦！所以太平的天气是非常凉爽的，夜晚睡觉的时候不开风扇也觉得非常冷！

但最可怕的并不在于这点，因为最可怕的就是必须在明天的早晨来个超级冷水澡！！！搞得老子每天早上都伤风和打冷颤 @.@ 所以每次冲凉的时候，脑海里都会记住这句话:"吃的苦中苦,方位人上人"

3. 住宿篇

除了食堂的食物难吃得惊人之外, 在太平的住宿一点也不逊色。房间小得可怜不在话下, 床褥更是异味重重, 感觉有点像是臭汗酸的味道, 所以在第一夜的时候是经过一番的挣扎和努力才成功得催眠自己入睡。除此以外，蟑螂、蚂蚁和壁虎更是房间里的常客，所以可想而知房间里到底有多恐怖了吗？

4. 爬山篇

出发咯!

既然来到了太平，当然不能错过闻名已久的Maxwell Hill a.k.a Bukit Larut啦！虽然当初对这活动没什么兴趣，但它总算是一个很不错的经验。大伙儿一大清早就开始集合了，做了简单的暖身操以后，我们便步行到Maxwell Hill去。整个路程从山脚一直到山顶长达10公里左右，可是走不到500米的时候心里就已经开始后悔了，因为已经可以开始感觉到斜坡所带来的疲惫和艰辛 @.@ 不过既来之，则安之，最后还是硬着头皮撑着走。

刚开始一大班的年轻人还有说有笑，但这愉快的画面只维持大概一个小时左右而已，因为接下来的路程只听见你我他的喘气声，当然也少不了一些求救声咯！哈哈！我想那个时候大家的心里肯定非常后悔平时没有做运动的好习惯，也觉得非常的惭愧。为什么勒？因为上山的途中都会发现许多中年人士也在此运动，而且脚步轻快，好像一点也难不到他们似的。你说该不该觉得惭愧呢？:P

大自然的美

在途中我们有机会遇到三位中年男子在半山自建的亭子里休息。经过简单的问候和寒暄发现他们都有每天到这儿聚集的习惯。除了在这里和老友聚集之外，他们还充分地利用超级干净的山水来泡茶,多么会享受他们的人生啊! 不过话说回来, 这里的山水还真的非常干净, 凭着肉眼是完全看不出任何的渣滓在里面, 自己本身也忍不住装了两瓶来喝, 嘻嘻!

经过了二二四个小时不停的奋斗和努力后，“林北”终于到了山顶。虽然Maxwell Hill的高度只有区区的1000公尺左右，可是山上的温度非常凉爽，不时还可在雾中漫步，算是挺“诗情画意”的，哈哈！不过这座山害人真不浅，搞得大家累到不像话，再加上想到等一下还得步行下山，双脚差点要撞墙自杀了！=.="' 下到山脚是已经是傍晚的时候了, 那个时候的脚不再是属于本少爷的, 完全不由我控制的在步行, 真是有够累!

三个星期的课程说长不长, 说短它一点也不算短. 不过能够在这里和一大班的同事们相处算是很不错的经验. 希望下一次依然有机会去更加好玩的, 当然住宿和食物必须改进啦, 要不然的话患上厌食症是迟早的事罢了,哈哈!

太平之食物篇

话说三个星期前小弟被派遣到太平这"雨城"去,
现在是时候和大家分享这18天里所做的东东啦!

食物篇

正如我所料, 食堂所供应的伙食真是有够难吃, 尤其是他们煮的鱼! 小弟本身已经不是很喜欢吃鱼了, 所以每当伙食里当中有鱼这道菜时, 我肯定会"逃避"它 :P 对了, 忘了告诉各位在那儿一天总共有6餐哦! 除了基本的早午晚餐之外, 当然还少不了10点半的早点, 3点3的午茶, 以及宵夜啦! 这样吃法, 不肥才怪! 不过幸好我可以维持体重, 算是"不幸中的大幸"吧? 哈哈!

当然, 太平这地方也有一些闻名的道地佳肴, 其中就包括了有我们马来同胞的Doli Kueh Teow以及Mee Udang. 说道Doli, 在太平是无人不晓这东东. 所以我们也当然不能放过这机会到此尝尝咯!
对了, 太平的食物价格尚算便宜, 平均大排挡的价钱才三令吉罢了, 二令吉五十仙这价钱在太平还是有的哦! 便宜到....

Doli Kueh Teow Goreng是一间由马来人所经营的炒果条店, 其中他们的Doli Kueh Teow Goreng就是他们的招牌菜. 当我们晚上9点半左右抵达的时候依然门庭若市, 生意好的不得了! 经过了超过半个小时的等待, 期待已久的炒果条终于送到我们的餐桌. 只不过, 小弟觉得它的味道算是普通罢了, 没什么值得一提的. 或许是我们对它的期望太高了吧? 总觉得吉隆坡任何一挡炒果条都比它好吃, 更何况它的价钱对太平的水准来说算是贵了一点. 小份的是RM3.50, 大份的则需RM8! 是的, 你没看错, 是八令吉! 与小份的来比较, 大份的只不过多了丁多一点点, 虾也比较大只而已! 总觉得它一点也不值八令吉这价钱咯! 不过若你有兴趣尝试的话, 不妨到此看看吧.

除了Doli Kueh Teow以外, 在太平也有非常著名的Mee Udang. 它是位于太平比较郊外的地点, 坐落于去Portwell的路途中. Mak Teh Mee Udang 算是一道令小弟大开眼界的虾面. 为什么呢? 若你在吉隆坡吃虾面的话, 碗里面的虾通常小得可怜, 而且数量更是少只有少. 不过Mak Teh 的Mee Udang刚好相反. 他共有六, 十, 以及十二令吉三种价格让顾客选择. 若你觉得价钱有点太高, 那你就错了! 因为当那十令吉的Mee Udang端到我面前时, 我被碗里面的虾给吓得"目瞪口呆"! :P 里面的虾不是三, 也不是五, 而是十只那么多! 有些人甚至得到十一只那么多呢! 就像那边的人告诉们说必须把虾推开才能看到面的情形一样的, 哈哈! 它的味道尚算不错, 碗里的海水虾的肉质非常新鲜, 吃起来口感一流, QQ的! 所以本人是非常推荐各位这道佳肴, 这么偏僻的餐店也获得了不少报章的专访, 真的不是盖的!

再多两天，
我就可以回家了。
不，
应该是说我终于可以回家了。

很想念老妈子炖的莲藕汤和酸甜不腻的猪脚醋，
也很想念抱着我的抱枕入眠的夜晚，
因为它的味道总是能够让我特别容易入睡。

在这里，
并没有吃不饱，
或者是睡不着。
只是，
食堂的饭菜真的很不美味，
床褥更是带有浓厚的异味，
寒冷的早上还得冲个冷水澡。
在这种情况下，
一个人很难不想念家的美好，
还有它的温暖。

身边的同事个个都病倒了，
我想应该都快要撑不住了吧？
若必须在这儿待多一个星期，
下一个病倒的肯定会是自己。

和你分离的这段日子里，
脑袋里每天想的都是你的脸，
对你的思念有增无减。
不知道你有没有变得比较胖了？
还是依然变得更加瘦了？
真高兴再过几天就可以见到你了。

Updates from Taiping

Finally I can spare some time for myself to blog here. So here are some updates of my stay in Taiping at the moment:

1. How's everything in Taiping?
- Things are pretty good here. Attend classes everyday with overloaded information. Not forgetting those speakers who could be really sucks at time.

2. Do you like the weather in Taiping?
- Knowing that it is the "Rain City" of Malaysia, can already expect rainfall everyday here. But I gotta say at night the weather here is supeeerrr cooling! How nice if KL has such weather.....

3. How's food and accommodation?
- Arrghhh! Food provided by the canteen sucks a big time! Accommodation is way worse than my uni one. But kinda used to it dy, haiz....

4. How do you spend your time at Taiping?
- As mentioned earlier, besides going for classes and more classes, I actually went for hiking at Maxwell Hill aka Bukit Larut. Nearly fainted after reach downhill =.=" Apart from that, get to play some sports, bar-b-que, visit night safari and yada yada yada with all the newly made friends ^.^ Kinda love this kind of healthy and well-balanced lifestyle, haha!

5. Hoping coming back soon to KL?
- Of course I am! Though life here is quite relaxing, I think I'm still used to KL's busy bustle lifestyle after all :P

As mentioned in my previous post about my interest in learning Japanese, after much consideration and thoughts of how determine I am this time in picking up this language, finally I bought myself a learning guide book! Kudos to myself ^.^

Well, I'm not really sure how long this hype can last for. But so far the eagerness to learn something new is still there, and is still fire burning! Haha.. Anyway, went to MPH to find some relevant books and found out that they aren't cheap at all. One book could easily costs around RM100 for less than 300 pages thick @.@ Thank god my hobby doesn't include reading! Haha..

Spent almost an hour at the foreign language book section and after much flip and flap through dozen of books, finally I picked up this book:

最近发现自己超爱放空，
无论是在路上行驶时，
或者是在上班时，
双眸的焦距随时会瞬间朦胧，
顿时沉陷于放空的状态。
不知道是不是因为人老了，
所以很容易呈现于这种情况呢？
哈哈！

也发现自己近日开始对日文产生兴趣，
想要好好的学习一番，
可是被那些昂贵的学费给吓跑了。
看来我还是找日到Kinokuniya买一本书慢慢研究吧！
不知道各位有任何好的建议呢？

Fullhouse

在还未开始这次的写作，
首先要跟大家说声抱歉，
因为近来真的没什么重要的事值得一提，
导致部落格荒废多时。
或许，
平凡就是幸福，
生命不见得要有大风大浪才显得珍贵，
对吗？

Anyway,
昨天有幸和友人到传说中的FullHouse共享晚餐。
说真的，
“牛车水”这地方还真是有够偏僻！
三卡拉到。。。
而且道路崎岖不已，
整个地方犹如死城。
老实说，
“牛车水”是一个很棒的点子，
只不过摆在错的地点，
就足以毁它一声！

相信大家对Fullhouse一点也不陌生吧？
我非常喜欢这餐厅的overall concept,
"Lifestyle store + restaurant"，
再加上以白色为主的精致设计和布置，
真的会让人感觉身在异国的错觉。
你会发觉Fullhouse的菜单非常特别，
因为它融合了“菜单+杂志+漫画”在于一书，
让顾客在点菜之余还能看看其他的东西，
非常有创意！

至于食物方面，
Fullhouse是以西餐为主，
不过也设有一些本地的佳肴。
若以当天所点的食物味道来说，
加上店里的布置和气氛，
价钱尚算合理。

至于店里贩卖的商品，
我个人觉得稍微贵了一些，
同样的东西在Sg Wang买应该会便宜个30%吧？
哈哈~

有些人会相信，
生活中的种种的东西，
都是冥冥中注定的，
怎么逃也逃不掉。
当你越不想要它的时候，
上面的大爷就会偏偏和你唱反调，
好让你来个“事与愿违”的滋味~

拿到placement letter的那一刻，
心脏仿佛停止跳动，
阅读每个字母都变得更加沉重。
即使百般的不愿意，
最不想看到的东西终究还是一一呈现在我的眼前。

既然发生了，
只能黯然的接受一切。
或许，
这并不是一件坏的事情。
反正自己也还未尝试过这行业，
说不定自己会爱上它呢？

算了，
“马死落地行”，
现在唯一能做的，
就只有一直对自己猛灌输正面的看法，
以及好好准备自己该做的本分，

最近有人问为何多时没来打扫。
原因很简单，

如果非要提一事，
我想应该是最近的天气热得很，
完全可以媲美曼谷“艳阳普照”的天气！
看来global warming真的越来越严重了。

话说现在的我应该在半岛的某一个角落享受着与世无争的生活，
可是人算不如天算，
当我千里迢迢的从家里出发到吉隆坡某处集合时，
发现那儿鬼影都没半个！
拨电话给了好多人才知道我们被HR耍得团团转，
因为induction programme被延迟到下个月去但却没通知我！
真是有够王八蛋！

贵为我国的通讯大亨之一，
却不能把这么小的事给办好，
叫我该如何对它放一百个心呢？
刚上班的第一天就遇上了这个“大头佛”，

收拾度假的心情，
展开为期6个星期的training了！

9月1日起，
这个部落格将开始累计灰尘，
因为我将暂时挥别这片钢筋森林，
到半岛的某一个角落开始我的另一个人生旅程。
为什么是某个角落呢？
那是因为我也不知道位身在何处啊！=.="'
能不能够上网还是个未知数呢！
为期三个星期的induction program,
据说是无聊之极点！
再加上现在是马来同胞的斋戒日子和华人中元节，
让这21天更具挑战性！

现在的我对这份工作充满了憧憬和希望，
觉得有挑战之余又带点莫名的兴奋。
希望在这未来的日子里，
能够和同事们“和睦共处”之余，
事业也能够一帆风顺！

休息了快要三个月的时间，
老子终于要开工了！！！
回头看看自己在过去的这三个月所做的事，
老实说还真的挺无聊的，
害得我现在也变得有点懒惰了！
不过没关系，
我相信在正式要踏入这社会大学之际，
自己一定能够去适应一切，
各位朋友也加油吧！

Anyway,
上个星期我有机会到MidValley的鼎泰丰用餐。
说到鼎泰丰，
若各位有到过台北旅游的话，
我相信你一定对这鼎鼎大名的餐厅一点也不陌生，
因为听说若要在台北信义路的鼎泰丰用餐的话，
最起码也得等大约30分钟才行！
自己是还没有这个机会啦，
不过我相信会有那么的一天的！:D

或许是因为过了晚餐的时间，
所以我们只需要等大约5分钟就可以了。
话说鼎泰丰是以小笼包闻名的，
所以来到这儿一定不会错过此佳肴的。
至于食物的价钱方面，
我觉得算是属于中上的吧？
整体上我觉得它是一家很不错的餐厅，
最值得赞赏的就是他们的服务态度，
感觉非常的亲切和有礼貌，
而且也能说很台湾的华语。
值得一提的是，
女服务员大致上都长得挺得体和标致的，（没有到很漂亮的level啦～）
不知道是不是有精挑细选过得呢？
哈哈～

踏出门口的那一刻，
我崩溃了。
十分钟前的镇定和演技全在刹那之间彻底毁灭，
关闭在双眸内的眼泪已不由自主地流了下来。

该来的，
终究还是回来。
只是，
它来的太突然了，
未做任何防备的我被击败得难堪不已。

如果说台南的水灾是上天给人类的一个警告，
那这次的事件肯定是他给我的一大挑战，
势必要给我们一点脸色瞧瞧！
但我相信，
只要你我都不放弃，
我们一定能够一起渡过这次的考验，
我们一定会的！

2009年8月8日正式为我的大学生活划下美好的句点。
在礼堂的4个半小时虽然漫长，
但却意义非凡。
很感谢当天所有到场的家人和朋友，
也非常谢谢你们所送上的礼物和祝福。

站在舞台上的那一刻，
心中顿时涌上莫名的骄傲和光荣。
我可以肯定地说，
四年里的努力和用心都得到了应有的回报，
最重要的是，
在这段美好的大学生涯里，
我得到的，
肯定不只是书本上的学问，
心中的口袋也装进了许多无价的友情和经历。

在这里要衷心感谢帮助过小弟的人，
在四年的大学生涯里面给的教导和意见，
我一定会铭记于心。
至于那些一起疯狂过的好友与死党，
谢谢你们给我的欢乐和笑声，
让小弟的大学生活一点也不枯燥！

电影论

这个暑假，
你花了多少的时间和金钱在看电影呢？

短短的这两个月里，
电影院都陆陆续续的上映了许多的电影。
不知道是不是太闲没事做的关系，
不知不觉我已经看了有大约8部电影吧！
这样一算，
原来老子在这两个月里已经花了一笔挺可观的金钱在支持正版电影！
哈哈~

评语：故事和演员都很不错，只是动作场面还可以更多。
好看指数：****（5*为满分）

评语：非常棒的一部惊悚电影！故事和情节都很紧奏，演员很棒，尤其是饰演老太婆的Lorna Raver，恐怖指数爆灯！

评语：另一部失败的东方人拍给西方人看的电影。故事缺乏吸引力，动作特效过于之慢，看到差点入睡！

评语：和第一集相比，第二集很明显的被比了下去。致命伤是于故事的铺陈不够好，再加上没什么新意，所以难得小弟的欢喜。

改头换面 x 2

经过了种种的困难和挑战，
我终于成功把我部落格的template给换掉了！
对HTML一窍不通的我，
真是有够难度！

对于这次的改造，
我只是把部落格的宽度给加大了一些，
当然在图片上也做出了少许的变化。
距离上一次的改造也应该有超过一年的时间了，
所以是时候给大家耳目一新的视觉享受！
虽然变化算是微不足道，
但总算有些改变咯~
最重要的是我的照片可以把它放大一点了，
不用每次都把它resize到小得可怜，
哈哈！

Maxis vs Digi vs Celcom

自2006年中一直到现在，
我都是Maxis的忠实拥护者，
有时候我甚至感到骄傲成为他们的一份子！
虽然称不上是什么大用户，
可是好歹以我多年对他忠心耿耿的热诚和坚持，
也算是一位忠实粉丝！

但是，
不知何时开始，
我发现Maxis的素质开始降低了。
先从最基本的通话清晰度开始说起，
我发现电话所收到的satellite signal一直都不是很稳定，
忽高忽低的。
最重要的是我都不能很清楚地听见电话中另一方所讲的东西，
一句话至少断断续续大概有5次左右吧！
不是听得老子一头雾水，
就是一直和对方"harr来harr去”。

若连最基本的接收率都搞不好，
那我该如何说服自己继续“帮衬”Maxis呢？
就连我这么loyal的customer都有“跳槽”的念头，
我想Maxis应该是时候反省反省咯~

*注：这是小弟本身所体验到的东西。若小弟得罪或冒犯到任何Maxis的粉丝，请多多谅解！

Anyway,
若选择放弃Maxis的话，
我应该投靠哪家电讯公司呢？
照目前为止的资料，
Digi的确比Celcom来的划算。
拨电每分钟只需RM0.13至任何网络，
简讯每封则需RM0.10。
而Celcom拨电每分钟需RM0.15至任何网络，
简讯比Digi高出RM0.02。
所以，
任何会加减乘除的人都知道Digi比较划算，
你说是吗？

不过，
要记得哦，
Digi是没有3G的！
哎哟，
真是的！
我们的政府干嘛不公平一点，
这样对待Digi,
真是有够欠扁！

若你也一样正在面对着同样的问题和选择，
你会选择哪一个呢？

p/s: 若以后我成为了TM的一份子，那使用Celcom的服务是迟早的事了，唉！

怡保。槟城

之前去了Langkawi后，
现在小弟再下一城，
再接再厉往北方一游。
这次的旅行除了探访久违的东方花园之外，
也到了怡保逗留了两天出席好友的结婚注册典礼。

虽然对怡保没什么兴趣，
不过好友们的热情招待还是让我对这个著名出产“帅哥美女”的城市留下很好的回忆。
不过话说回来，
在怡保还真的没什么机会看到这个地方的“土产”，
质素算是嘛嘛地罢了，
呵呵！

说到槟城这小岛，
虽然不是第一次去，
不过它每次总是能够给我惊喜！
最明显的改变就是当它被列为世界文化遗产后，
整座岛仿佛比起以前更加朝气蓬勃，
游客更是随处可见！
如果不在吉隆坡居住的话，
我想槟城是个很不错的选择。

废话还是少说，

不知道为什么最近总是词穷，
感觉上写作能力差了很多，
都已经那么烂了，

三天两夜 - Langkawi

虽然说现在的我可是闲得快要抽筋，
但总是纳不出任何时间更新我的部落格，
真是惭愧万分啊！

上个星期的我终于迎接了假期的第一个旅游，
那就是去了浮罗交怡岛去。
虽然只是短短的三天两夜，
不过总好过呆在家里发霉吧？

话说虽然这已经是我第四次到Langkawi，
可是却一点也不闷哦！
或许是因为在对的时候和对的人去玩吧？

Having been using TM Net Streamyx a.k.a "TM Nut Screamyx" for more than 4 years, finally I decided to change my ISP to a better one. Well, in Malaysia we still don't have the BEST ISP yet as our communication technology is still way behind some other countries. But still, as long as it can performs better than my Screamyx, who cares?

Recently I have came across with Jaring, who has long established in Malaysia communication industry. I never ever consider Jaring as one of my options until my bro told me so. They are currently providing two broadband services, which are the Jaring Flite Wired and Jaring Flite Wireless. For more information, you can visit the website here.

I went to Jaring Headquarter in Bukit Jalil to make subscription for it Jaring Flite Wireless. Why wireless? It's simple, coz they do not have any available ports in my area at the moment, plus they are currently having promotion for their Flite Wireless 1mbps at RM69 per month from RM99 per month previously with a FREE modem too! At least it is much cheaper compare to TM Nut (RM88 per month without modem) and P1 WIMAX (RM99 with modem) both for 12-months contract. So, why not Jaring?

After a quick installation, I found out that its performance is comparatively better than my previous one. Well, maybe is partly because I switched from 512kps to 1mbps but hey, it is still money value to me as the previous package cost me RM66 per month. And this is the speed test result I received for my new Jaring Flite Wireless:

Addicted to RC!!!

It should be my FINAL final exam weeks, but see what I'm doing right now!!! I'm playing the Restaurant City (RC) in Facebook!!! Arghhh, this game is freaking addictive! Is hard not to care for your own restaurant, and the feeling to see your restaurant expand and grow day by day is just simply amazing and fruitful! Haha.. Gosh! Feel like an ambassador for RC now~

And guess what? I'm using my revision time in library to run my restaurant business! And it has definitely delayed my whole revision progress! Damn, why do I have to play this game at such crucial time??? @.@ Maybe it is a good way to release stress and pressure?? :P

Anyway, here is how my RC looks like in Day 1. It might be ugly and simple at the mean time, but just watch it out say about another week. I'm sure I will have a ten times better restaurant!!! Btw, for those who wants to trade some stuffs with me, please do so! Haha..

One of the events which I have attended every single year in my university is DJAN, which stands for "DeeJay Appreciation Nite". Well, this is my forth time to this so called THE fabulous dinner of my club, and sad to say that it should be the last one for me too.

This event was initiated and started during the first year when I joined this club 4 years ago where back then I was the event's money keeper a.k.a. treasurer. And now, it has been doing better from year to year, at least in terms of the location la~ The first and second year was held in the Residence Hotel in UNITEN, where those years the budget was so limited that we couldn't "expand" our fabulous night in other glamorous hotels. I vividly remember the number of participants during the first year was merely around 60 people only and the second year we saw a small 20% growth of attendents.

The third DJAN, for me was the best outing so far. It was held at the 5-star Cyberview Lodge Resort and Spa (wahh wahh~!!) which only located merely 2km away from my university. 5-start man! How can you expect a limited budget club like this to have its grand dinner night in a 5-star resort. And the number of participants was more than 100~ Kudos to the committee members! A bonus for the night is where I was the so called "Prom King" of the night, and I guess is the one and only for me so far! :(

And this year, during my very last year in this uni, it was held furtherest away from our university, which was in Bukit Kiara Equestrian Resort (wahh wahh wahhh!!!). At least now we get to go out of the radius around Sepang district la~ This very last outing was kinda special to me, especially when you are being treated like a so called VVIP (Fuiyooo~) It was kinda weird and shy to be in that position for the reason that I'm no one in this club, haha! Again, the committee did another great job with more than 130 people this time even though I can see rooms for improvement. But hey, it was mainly organise for the club members, as long as they enjoy themselves well, who cares!
